Tha Pom Khlong Song Nam

Tha Pom Klong Song Nam is a hidden natural gem in Krabi. It’s a unique canal where freshwater from the forest meets saltwater from the sea, creating two layers of water that change with the tides. The water is crystal clear, with shades of blue and green, surrounded by lush mangrove forests and tropical trees. You can walk along a wooden walkway that winds through the mangroves, making it easy to explore and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

Many visitors think Tha Pom is just a small canal, but it’s actually a protected natural area. To get there, you can drive from Krabi Town, about 30 minutes, or from Ao Nang, about 45 minutes. There’s an entrance fee to support the conservation of the area.

Best time to do a photo session
The best time for a photoshoot here is late morning to early afternoon when the sunlight shines through the trees and makes the water sparkle. Around 10 am – 2 pm is perfect because the light is bright, and you’ll see the water’s full color.
